We can screen your name badges with pantone ink, we could produce them using our digital press and we can engrave names with our lasers.
Not only do we wish to keep up with the latest technology, but we wish to surpass it with our BIG touch. We have a dust free cell in our plant in which we contain our digital presses.
In this room we utilize the latest 7 colour digital print technology at 1200 DPI and we have also created our own digital colour book.
You can now get incredible quality, spot on colour and at the well known low costs of digital print. You will also notice in the photos, that we can use our presses for digital badge production meaning we can personalize badges in as many ways as customers can throw at us!
Every colour in the traditional pantone directory we have painstakingly matched with our digital press and we have currently matched in excess of 96%. No longer is digital technology a colour sacrifice.

TThe websites are bespoke and allow you to order and proof your business cards from your desk. Do we charge thousands of pounds for these sites? Of course we dont!
BIG was the first company to add a clear resin dome to the top of a name badge. This was back in the early 1990s and we call it Sparkryl. We still use this method for complex badges, but we also invested in an automated sparkryl system!
This really has been one of the best pieces of kit we have had built for us in the last few years. Accurate and extremely quick, we have trebled the number of badges we can dome in a day.
As with competition, others tried to match us and they eventually did. However, whilst they were catching us up we have improved, and have since then upgraded and changed each process.
Here at BIG we are proud of our production process which allows not only traditional and complex methods of creating perfection in bespoke manufacture, but also the very latest technology.

We have two traditional presses which we use to match the most complex of colours, but also for very cost effective longer runs of print.
The presses are favourites of ours as they look so imposing. Bob, our chief litho printer has worked for BIG for 14 years on the same type of press and he is still amazed by the consistent quality it outputs.
This incredible piece of kit will engrave around 350 badges an hour and we have two of them! Due to the flexibility of the laser it can cut out badges in any shape at all.
Check out our oven. We chose the interior to be chrome. Partially as it is the best material to evenly bake the badge, but also as it looks amazing. Designer factory are we!
We use screen printing for companies who need specific pantone matching on their badges. This process, whilst traditional, is extremely accurate.
We have migrated one of our Business Card Presses to solely produce badges on it - now the need is so great. Badges can be produced with images on them and the real flexibility is the variable information people can pick and choose
