litho press is ideal for high-quality short-run 1 and 2 colour work.
Heidelberg Printmaster GTO 52 - 2-colour commercial
litho
press which can print up to SRA3. The machine prints up to 9000 sheets
per hour (2-colour) and will handle material up to 400 gsm.
Svecia Semi-Automatic Flatbed Screenprinting Machine
– Silk
screen semi-automatic printing press, prints 1 colour at a time and up
to 450 SRA3 sheets per hour. Maximum print size is 70cm x 55cm. Used to
fulfil large print runs for name badges and back-printing. Additional
bridge unit for U.V drying. It also has a conveyor belt with heaters so
stock comes off dry and ready-to-use.
Kippax Hand Table – Silk screen printing press
prints 1
colour at a time and up to 200 SRA3 sheets per hour. Maximum print size
is 70cm x 55cm. Hand tables are used for close registration work of
Impress badges and some Selfit.
Colourjet – Our latest piece of equipment is a
7-colour jet
printer used for full-colour short-run work onto plastics and other
substrates. The press prints at 1400 dpi print quality and the largest
sheet size is A3.
Millennium Digiline Printer – 4-colour process
printing via different colour ribbons. Suited to short-run, full-colour
name badge orders.
Javelin 420 Card Printer – For
high-quality,
edge-to-edge, full-colour card printing, single or double-sided,
incorporating magnetic strips and holographic images.
Engraving
Evolution Trotec Laser Engravers x 2 – These
machines are
used to engrave and cut to size our Impress badges. The laser can cut
through plastic up to 5mm thick. The powerful laser enables
high-quality, clean, precision-engraving at high speed.
Mimaki ME 500 Engraver x 6 – Also used for engraving
and cutting Impress badges to size. Cut plastic up to 5mm thick.
Cutting & Finishing
Guillotine Polar 76 EM - The Polar 76 EM is one of
the best
commercial guillotines on the market for cutting business cards and
business stationery. This machine can cut up to 74cm in width and 76cm
in length and cuts up to XX sets of cards per hour.
Guillotine Wohlenberg 3052 - The Wohlenberg
guillotine is
suited for large format guillotine work. It is used as our back-up
guillotine when additional capacity is required and for square-cut
Selfit products.
DC-645 Duplo Production Colour Finisher - One of our
latest
pieces of equipment for cutting business cards to finished sizes. We
offer 50mm, 52mm and 55mm widths with a maximum size of 85mm. The
DC-645 is fully automatic and can also be configured for creasing.
Linea DH-460 Laminator - This is a hot-melt
laminator capable of laminating up to SRA3 in either gloss or matt
finish.
Svecia Semi-Automatic Machine (small) – Used solely
for
gluing process for Selfit badges. We pre-print the glue onto base stock
so this can be attached to the MMR (matt mark resist) digitally printed
sheets when needed.
Punch Machine – This has been specifically
custom-built for
our unique Selfit badges. This machine punches badges to the exact size
we require and puts the helpful thumb-cut into the base stock. Over 30
different sizes are available and custom tools can be purchased in
addition.
Automated Resin Applicator – Ideal for large
roll-outs of
name badges, the semi-automatic resin applicator deposits the exact
amount of resin required onto multiple badges at a time.
Hand-Held
Resin Applicator – Hand operated mixing machine for small
orders, combines the resin and
hardener together and dispenses the exact quantities and mix.
Hot Wire Strip Heater – Used for heat-bending
acrylic Selfit tent cards and desk plates.
